A little goes a long way. Always spot-test first, apply to a white cloth, and keep every motion gentle.

Prepare & spot-test
Wipe loose dust with a clean, dry white microfiber cloth. Test on a hidden area, let it dry, and check the color, texture and finish.

Clean gently
Apply a small amount of foam to the cloth, never the leather. Wipe lightly. Air-dry for around 3 hours, or until completely dry.

Condition lightly
Once dry, apply a little lotion to a separate white cloth. Spread gently and evenly. Do not soak, scrub or over-condition.

The right routine begins with the right material. Check the finish and condition, then spot-test before proceeding.
Suitable, with a spot-test
- Calfskin, cowhide and goatskin
- Grained calfskin, including caviar-style finishes
- Hermès leather, except Barenia and exotic skins
- Coated canvas, including the coated finishes used by Louis Vuitton, Goyard, Celine and Gucci
Suitability depends on the individual material and finish, not the brand name alone.
Do not use on
- Exotic skins or Barenia leather
- Suede or nubuck
- Untreated vachetta
- Nylon, fabric or fabric linings
- Uncoated canvas or toile, including Herbag and Garden Party canvas
Coated canvas and untreated canvas are different materials. Never soak or aggressively scrub.

Can I apply PRISTINE directly to my bag?
No. Always apply a small amount to a clean white microfiber cloth first, never directly to leather. Colored cloths may transfer dye. Spot-test a hidden area and let it dry before proceeding.
How long should I wait before using the lotion?
Let the leather air-dry naturally for a few hours — ideally around 3 hours, or until completely dry. Then use a separate clean white cloth to apply a small amount of lotion.
What does the System include?
Leather Foam Cleaner 100 ml, Leather Care Lotion 50 g, a microfibre cloth, a care card and a booklet presentation box. Cleaner and lotion are also available individually.
Can PRISTINE remove mold or repair damage?
The Foaming Cleaner can be used for surface mold that a dry cloth cannot remove, following the care instructions. PRISTINE is routine at-home care, not professional restoration. Ink, deep scuffs, color transfer, scratches and other significant damage may not be removable. Seek expert care when unsure.
How should I store my leather goods?
Allow items to air-dry completely before storing. Keep them in a cool, dry, well-ventilated space to help discourage conditions that encourage mold.
